World Sparrow Day

The GYAN PEETHIKA SCHOOL Celebrated World Sparrow Day on 20th of March 2024.

World Sparrow Day is observed every year to raise awareness. In recent years, these birds have been on the verge of extinction across much of their natural range, both in urban and rural habitats. Their decline is an indicator of the continuous degradation of the environment around us. We hope that on this day individuals, various government agencies, and scientific communities would come up with measures to save them.

The School assembly was filled with inspiration as students delivered impactful speeches and presentation sharing their thoughts on the importance of protecting these little creatures and how it also saves the biodiversity. The Students showed their enthusiasm and creativeness through participating in painting competition, poster making and Quiz competition.

Sparrows remind us that even the smallest creatures play a big role in our world.
